Standipack was established in 1980 by Mr. Kamal Meattle, with the objective of providing complete packaging solutions. The company has pioneered "Flexible Packaging System" in India, which is being profitably used by various organizations for more than two decades.
Standipack offers a "Systems Approach" for packaging of products. All facilities for packing products, right from the manufacturing of laminates, pouching to filling operations, are provided in-house under one roof.
Standipack is also a major supplier of pouches and bags for packing lube oils, rice, cement, edible oils, shampoos and fruit juices.
Standipack, a professionally managed company, is headed by Mr. Kamal Meattle as its Managing Director. Mr. Kamal Meattle did his schooling from The Doon School, Dehra Dun and graduated with a B.Sc. (Bachelor in Science) from St. Joseph's College, North Point, Darjeeling. He then went on to study S.M (Master of Science in Management) from the Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA in 1967.
Mr. Meattle is a renowned figure in the packaging field with over 32 years of experience in flexible as well as paperboard packaging.

Standipack was the first to introduce Standup pouches for packing of lubeoils in 1985 for Hindustan Petroleum Limited. The system was subsequently adopted by other major petroleum giants such as Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited & Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Standipack is dedicated to providing cost effective solutions in packaging to ensure customer satisfaction.
Standipack also introduced and developed packs of 1Kg and 5 Kg, named "White Pearl" for basmati rice in 1993 and exhibited the same at Interpack, Dusseldorf.
Standipack also won the "India Star" and "World Star" awards for modified atmosphere packing of rice, sponsored by the Indian Institute of Packaging.
